CROWLEY – In the fall of 1979, Charles Broussard, a local resident, became interested in show pigeons. A grocery store manager by trade, being a pigeon fancier is his passion.

CROWLEY – A new club, named YOUTHACT, which has recently been started at Crowley Middle School, is sponsored by the Crowley Rotary Club. The club’s focus is on community service and helping others as part of the application process.

CROWLEY – Acadia Parish Sheriff Wayne Melancon stated that residents on Horn Drive in Clearview Subdivision reported seeing bear on their front porch at approximately 6:30 Thursday morning.
