Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 25, 2008 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Adles “Joe” Hebert, 66, who died Saturday, August 23, 2008 at his residence.

Peter Trahan

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2008 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Crowley to celebrate the life of Peter Lawrence Trahan, 49, who died at noon on August 25. He died peacefully in his home surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Jacqueline Guidry

Abbeville—Memorial services will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Jacqueline Battle Guidry, 58, of Kaplan who died Saturday, August 23, 2008 at Abbeville General Hospital.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph Calvin Guidry; one brother, Mike Battle and his wife Bonnie; one daughter, Laura Suzanne Hernandez and two step children, David Guidry and Amanda Guidry; and one granddaughter, the sunshine of her life Gabriel Nicole Hernandez.

Julie Guidry

Abbeville— A memorial mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, August 23, 2008 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Julie Anne Guidry, 42, who died Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Reverend William C. Blanda officiating the services.
Julie was a life long member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend who will be greatly missed.

Joanna Hebert

Funeral services will be held at a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, August 22, 2008 at St. Joseph Church for Joanna Rita Hebert, 75, who passed away at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.
Reverend William Gearheard, Pastor of St. Joseph Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Lectures will include Kimberly Wooten and Brandi Olivier.
Entombment will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Ruby Lacour

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Friday, August 22, 2008 at a 2:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Ruby Cecile Lacour, 86, who died Thursday, August 21, 2008 at Abbeville General Hospital.
She will be laid to rest at Bancker Cemetery with Rev. Blaine Clement officiating the services.
Ruby retired after 34 years of service as a Scrub Tech for the Palms Hospital and Abbeville General Hospital.
