Ron Landry arrested by Task Force
One Vermilion Parish resident has been arrested and booked into the Vermilion Parish Correctional Center on narcotics charges.
Sheriff Mike Couvillon says that Ron J. Landry of 15822 La. 685 Erath, La. 70533 was arrested late yesterday evening without incident by members of the Vermilion Parish Sheriff’s Special Response Team on outstanding warrants for Manufacturing of Schedule II Drugs and Possession with intent to Distribute Marijuana, with bond being set at $85,000, as well as a hold for the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Finally, Sheriff Couvillon says that the Special Response Team was utilized to effect the arrest of Landry, because of the threat associated with this individual, but more importantly to ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents, and officers.
