John "Johnny" Comeaux
BRANCH - Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 2:30 p.m. for John Paul “Johnny” Comeaux, 49, who died Saturday, February 28, 2009 at his residence in Branch.
Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2 in Rayne.
Surviving are two sons, Derek Paul Comeaux of Rayne and Tyler John Comeaux of Sunset; the mother of his children, Karen B. Veillon of Sunset; parents, Joseph Clyde and Myrtle Simpson Comeaux of Rayne; two brothers, Clyde Dean Comeaux and his wife Diane of Rayne and Tony Comeaux and his wife Julie of Crowley; two grandsons, Peyton Paul Comeaux and Braelon James Comeaux; and his grandmother, Mrs. Ivy Comeaux of Rayne.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herbert Simpson. Sr. and Angelle Bordes Simpson; and an infant grandson, Hayden Paul Comeaux.
He was born Friday, July 3, 1959 in Rayne, the son of Joseph Clyde Comeaux and Myrtle Simpson Comeaux.
He graduated from Rayne High School in 1977. He served in the U.S. Army. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and motorcycling.
Friends were received from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2009 and will be received again on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 from 8 a.m. until the time of services at Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Gossen Funeral Home of Rayne.
