Wildlife and Fisheries cite eight people recently

Local Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries agents cited eight people recently.

Citations were issued to the following:

•Kyle James Richardson of Mamou was charged January 28, with hunting MGB (migratory game birds) without a state license, hunting MGB without a federal stamp and violating non-toxic shot requirements, in Evangeline Parish by Sgt. Scott D. Fontenot.

•Victor Cade Sittig of Mamou was charged January 28, with hunting MGB (migratory game birds) without a state license, hunting MGB without a federal stamp and violating non-toxic shot requirements, in Evangeline Parish by Sgt. Scott D. Fontenot.

•Arturo O. Velazquez of Mamou was charged February 1, with hunting MGB (migratory game birds) from a public roadway, hunting MGB without a state migratory license, hunting geese without a federal stamp license and hunting MGB with an illegal firearm, in Evangeline Parish by Senior Agent Steve Vidrine.

•Stephen Blake Vidrine of Bunkie was charged February 8, with operating a boat with no running lights, in Evangeline Parish by Sgt. Scott D. Fontenot.

•Douglas Craig Johnson of Ville Platte was charged February 8, with operating a boat with no running lights, in Evangeline Parish by Sgt. Scott D. Fontenot.

•Robert Allen Johnson Jr. of Mamou was charged February 11, with angling without a license, in Evangeline Parish by Sgt. Scott D. Fontenot.

•Clyde David Briley of Ville Platte was charged February 16, with miscellaneous federal violation of illegal possession of MGB (migratory game birds), in Evangeline Parish by Sgt. Scott D. Fontenot and Senior Agents Phillip Saragusa and Sidney Charbonnet.

•Patrick Dale Rollins of Ville Platte was charged February 21, with possession of legend drugs (soma) without a prescription, in Evangeline Parish by Sgt. Scott D. Fontenot.

•Preston P. Arclese of Mamou was charged February 23, with angling without a license, in Evangeline Parish by Senior Agent Steve Vidrine.
