Arrest made in connection to Delcambre home invasion

DELCAMBRE — An arrested has been made in reference to the Jan. 10, 2018 Home Invasion and Armed Robbery of an 84-year-old Delcambre resident.
Through an intensive seven-month investigation by the Delcambre Police Department and with the assist of the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office and the U.S. Marshal's Service, on Friday Torie Nicole Stelly was arrested on a warrant from the Delcambre Police Department on charges of Armed Robbery, Aggravated Burglary, Crimes Against the Elderly and False Imprisonment.
Stelly was located at a residence in St. Martin Parish and arrested by the Marshal's Service. She was transported to the St. Martin Parish Jail and later transported to Lafayette Parish, where a hold has been placed for the Delcambre Police Department She will later be booked by Delcambre and transported to Vermilion Parish Correctional Center on a $150,000 bond. The Delcambre Police Department would like to thank the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshal Service for their assistance in this investigation and would also like to thank all the citizens who called in with tips and information concerning this investigation.
