Planned water outage Saturday for part of Abbeville

There will be a planned water outage in parts of Abbeville this Saturday, March 11.
Work will begin at 7 a.m.
The planned water outage is to allow city workers to replace fire hydrants.
Areas affected:
• Bound on the north by Palms Hospital Drive
• Bound on the south by West Summers Drive
• Bound on the east by Highway 167
• Bound on the west by Assay Street, Caroline Drive, Bruno Road.
There will be a water boil advisory in effect once water is turned back on. The city will provide an update when the advisory has been lifted. Residents in the affected area will need to bring the water to a rolling boil for one full minute.
