ABBEVILLE — We gather to celebrate the life and legacy of Minister Cynthia (Cindy) Chisolm.
Cindy entered this life on December 19, 1956, in Benton Harbor, Michigan to Samuel McGinnis Sr. and Minister Mattie Campbell McGinnis. Mrs. Chisolm entered eternal life on July 06, 2018, peaceably with family and friends.
Visitation at Lighthouse for Jesus Ministries, Inc., July 13, 2018 8 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. Interment at Pleasant Green Cemetery Abbeville, La.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 12, 2018 in the Delhomme Funeral Home of Maurice for Mrs. Lavonne Faye Heaton, 87, who passed away on July 7, 2018.
Burial will take place in St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
Mrs. Heaton, a resident of Houston, was the daughter of the late Oliver Lafayette Wiser and the former Jessie Louella Armstrong. She was a member of the Church of Christ, enjoyed reading, bowling, and fishing. Mrs. Heaton loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
