Albert Shelvin, Jr.
ABBEVILLE — A Home-going Celebration will be held for Mr. Albert “Mr. Steelhead” Shelvin, Jr., 81 at 12:00 Noon Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Faith Hope Christian Fellowship Church with Bishop B. K. Stevens, officiating.
He will await the resurrection in Saint Paul Cemetery in Abbeville, LA.
A gathering of family and friends will begin at 9:00 A.M. Saturday at the church until time of service.
A native and resident of Abbeville, LA, he passed on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at his Katy, TX residence.
Donald P. “Mutt” Harrington
A memorial service celebrating the life of Donald P. “Mutt” Harrington will take place on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 17315 Lionel Road, Abbeville, LA.(Cow Island), from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM, with mass starting at 11:00 AM and burial immediately following. After services, a gathering of friends and family will be held at Sis and Ray’s camp, on Highway 35, near Suire’s grocery at four corners, (near 13923 Hwy 35, Kaplan LA.) Watch for their sign.
Melva Robertson Zenon
ABBEVILLE – A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Melva Robertson Zenon, 84, will held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at St. Theresa Catholic Church with Fr. Gregory Cormier officiating. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.
Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 8 a.m. until the time of the services with a recitation of the rosary at 8:30 a.m.
A native of Delcambre and a resident Abbeville Mrs. Zenon died at 7:20 a.m. on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Vermilion Health Care Center.
