There will be a home-going celebration for Stacy Lynn Briggs on Saturday, Sept. 29, at 2 p.m. at Faith Hope Missionary Baptist Church located at 405 Duroq St. in Abbeville.
Bishop B.K. Stevens will officiate.
The time of visitation will between noon and 2 p.m..
Briggs was born on June 24, 1980, to the union of Edgar Jr. and Mamie Briggs. She departed this life at her home in San Antonio on August 21, 2018.

DELCAMBRE – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Donna Broussard Saunier at 10:00 am Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Fr. Buddy Breaux will be the celebrant. Mrs. Saunier will be laid to rest alongside her son Casey at Our Lady of the Lake Mausoleum.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Evangeline Funeral Home Friday from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm, with the Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm. Visiting hours will resume on Saturday from 8:00 am until 9:30 am.
