Still January Food
I’m writing to you in a hotel near the Baton Rouge airport, where we are holed up since Monday in order to safely board a plane for Washington, D.C. on a flight that was scheduled for Wednesday early afternoon. As all flights out of Lafayette and Baton Rouge, ours has been postponed. Hopefully we will board our plane and arrive in D. C early tomorrow afternoon (Thursday). We are headed to the annual D. C. Louisiana Mardi Gras celebration that starts Thursday with a Louisiana Alive party featuring food and music of our state.
