Nobody ever recommended Tator Tots as a healthy food. But when you’re in a slump, woebegone, down in the dumps, morose, or just plain feeling blue, a dish full of Tator Tots is the prescription I recommend. Yes, maybe a banana split could help a lot, but tots are salty so they can be classed as a meal, and there are many, many ways to serve them up.

Nine years ago, a group of parents identified a need to improve the playground at Meaux Elementary School and decided to form a committee with the goal of bringing positive change to the Meaux community.
The committee quickly got to work and organized an annual event to raise funds for school improvements and advancements. The first fundraiser, a gumbo cookoff, was a success and has grown over the years to become the biggest and best event for the community.
