Hannah LeBlanc & Drew Baudoin announce engagement

Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Jude LeBlanc of Abbeville are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Miss Hannah Elizabeth LeBlanc to Mr. Drew Thomas Baudoin.
Hannah is the granddaughter of the late Marvin LeBlanc and Ruby LeBlanc of Abbeville, and the late E.H. Husband and Dorethea Husband of Abbeville.
She is a 2013 graduate of Vermilion Catholic High School in Abbeville, LA. She attended ULL and received a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science with a minor in Health in 2018. She is currently employed by The Vermilion Parish School Board.

Links des Pink Cancer Organization donations soar with $30,000 donation to St. Jude

Links des Pink is a Non-profit Vermilion Parish Cancer Organization formed in 2007. The mission has always been to help our neighbors, friends & family. One way has been to help support St Jude. This donation of $6,000,00 brings Links des Pink’s total donation throughout the years to $30,000.00. Abbeville resident Laney Kirstin to celebrate birthday, mother asks for birthday cards

Laney was born with epilepsy and had seizures 5-6 times a week for the first few years of her life. She suffered brain damage as a result and is mentally delayed, according to her mother, Amanda Constantine. Constantine is planning a special surprise for her daughter's 18th birthday. She says that her daughter checks the mail and is disappointed when there is no mail for herself. This year, Constantine is asking Acadiana to help out and make her daughter's birthday extra special by sending her a birthday card.
