Member of Vermilion Catholic’s Class of 2026, take part in the eighth year of the holding a Mass of Christian burial for unclaimed bodies.

As you approach the front doors of Vermilion Catholic you will see a two-part school motto displayed above both doors. Upon entering the school building the first part reads, “Enter to Learn Christ” and as you leave the building the second part reads, “Leave to Serve Christ.”
This motto is something we strive to instill in all of our students on a daily basis.

HIGH PROTEIN ALFREDO

INGREDIENTS

-3/4 cup refrigerated Alfredo sauce
-1 1/4 cups chicken bone broth
-3/4 cup of high-protein milk, such as Fairlife 2%
-1/2 tsp garlic powder
-1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
-Black pepper to taste
-8 oz protein pasta, such as Barilla Protein, prepared al dente
-1 (5 oz) can tuna
-1/2 cup peas and carrots
-1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
-1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

Krewe de la Renaissance Acadienne Celebrates Dia de los Muertos at 18th Annual Bal

The Krewe de la Renaissance Acadienne held its 18th Annual Mardi Gras Ball on Saturday, February 7th, at the Hilton DoubleTree in Lafayette. Guests enjoyed a vibrant and fun filled evening themed Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, a celebration honoring life, legacy, and remembrance.
Reigning over the evening were King XVIII Blake Carl Broussard and Queen XVIII Laurie Anne Hulin.

Vermilion Catholic Fiat class places white crosses in front of St Mary Magdalen Church

The Vermilion Catholic, a legacy of Mt. Carmel, Fiat class placed these white crosses in front of St Mary Magdalen Church to represent the millions of children who have been victims of abortion for the last 53 years. They stand as a reminder to keep all those affected by this decision in our prayers. This year the National March for Life will take place on January 23rd in Washington D.C. This annual event began when the Supreme Court’s 1973 Roe vs Wade decision legalized abortion in all U.S. states.
