2025 Vermilion Catholic Homecoming Court

Vermilion Catholic has announced the members of its 2025 Homecoming Court. Members include: Bottom Row (R-L) Emma Williams, Queen Ali Broussard and Amelia Broussard; Middle Row (R-L): Emma Prejean and Zoei Thibodeauxl; and Back Row: Coryn Glafcke. The Vermilion Catholic Screamin’ Eagles will play host to Highland Baptist in this year’s Homecoming game. Kick off is set for 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 10.

2025 Erath Homecoming Court

Erath High will host their Homecoming game on Friday, Oct. 10. The Presentation of the Court is at 6 p.m., with the game following at 7 p.m. The Queen will be announced that night. Armentor and Brianna Istre. Delcambre High School Panthers will take on the Highland Baptist Bears Friday, Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. The presentation of the Homecoming Court will begin at 6:20 p.m. The 2025 Homecoming Queen will be announced during half time.

The following students were selected by the student body to represent North Vermilion High School as members of the Homecoming King's Court. Presentation and crowning will take place at 6 p.m. Wednesday, September 24 during PowderPuff festivities. The annual homecoming parade will be on Thursday, Sept. 25, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Kings Court — Front (L-R): Brooks Broussard, Brock Broussard, Jackson Romero, Jax Smith, Alexander Landry and Chandler Richard; Back: Caleb Hebert, Cooper Trahan, Ryan Howard, Julien Bellard, Logan Blanchard, Kade Bertrand and Landon Folsom.

2025 North Vermilion High School Homecoming Court

Students were selected by the student body to represent North Vermilion High School as members of the Homecoming Queen's Court. The Patriots will take on the Northside Vikings on Friday, September 26 at 7:00 p.m. The presentation of the homecoming court will be pregame beginning promptly at 5:30 p.m. with crowning taking place at halftime.

Sunflowers For St. Jude brings many visitors to Romaine Road

While the most recent blooming fields of yellow that make up Sunflowers For St. Jude have faded, the future for the local fundraising effort certainly remains bright.
This marks year eight of the Romaine family using their fields to raise funds to go to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. The fields are located on Romaine Road in Kaplan.
